Tindall Barn is beautifully furnished and well-equipped with underfloor heating, this is a lovely place to stay all year round. The luxuriously spacious living area offers wonderful countryside views in a truly peaceful rural setting. This environmentally sensitive area is frequently visited by marsh harriers, barn and tawny owls, kites, kestrels and hares. With superb walking from the door and overlooking a carp-stocked pond, with fishing free of charge. This is a country lover’s paradise and children will love the freedom of the wide open spaces. The Broads, Loddon, 4 miles, the fine city of Norwich and beautiful beaches on the Suffolk Heritage coast are all within 25 miles with north Norfolk being easily accessible for a day’s excursion. The little market towns of Bungay, 2 miles, and Beccles, 9 miles, offer interesting shops, pubs and good restaurants.

Reviews
I would recommend Tindall Barn to anyone looking for a truly away-from-it-all relaxing break. No neighbours, no noise (except a bit of farming and the birds!). Excellent accommodation, beautiful views from the middle of a field, yet close enough to civilisation if you need it. Wonderful.

Just about to leave this fabulous place, the week has gone far too quickly. Tindall Barn is exceptional accommodation in a beautiful location. We have enjoyed visiting the surrounding area - coastal walks in Southwold and Orford Ness, shopping in lovely Norwich and a visit to the nearby St Peter's brewery are all a must. We also spent time just relaxing in the barn and watching the wildlife - hares, pheasants, kestrels and even a kingfisher. If you are looking for a holiday that combines relaxation and sightseeing in a beautiful part of the country then Tindall Barn is definitely the place to stay.

This beautiful county is situated to the south of Norfolk, with Cambridgeshire to the west, Essex to the south, and the North Sea to the east. It has much to offer the visitor, including the wetlands of the Broads, the Wool Towns, and a coastal strip to the east known as “The Sandlings”. There are over 5000km of marked paths as well as national cycle routes, along with country parks, nature reserves such as the Trimley Marshes, and picnic sites.
Suffolk’s notable towns include Ipswich (the county town), Felixstowe, Lowestoft, Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket.
West Suffolk is famed for its archaeological discoveries, especially that at Sutton Hoo in 1939. A grassy mound was found to be a ship burial ground containing a collection of Anglo-Saxon treasures, including a Sword of State, a shield, a helmet, gold and silver bowls, jewellery and a lyre. The site is now owned by the National Trust.
